How to Order:
Red Bird Knits' shopping cart system makes your yarn shopping
easier. Select the quanitites you would like and click on the Add to Cart
button.
You can view your cart at any time or just keep shopping until you are ready
to check out. Applicable taxes and shipping are added automatically.
Join Red Bird News, a yahoo group for priority notification of
new items, sales exclusive to the group and specials. To join, send an email
to redbirdnews-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
Payment
Credit card information is securely encrypted for safe shopping.
Billing is in Canadian funds and, in the case of customers outside Canada, converted
to your own currency by your credit card company.
I also accept PayPal in both Canadian and US funds - choose that option at the
time of check out and I will send you a PayPal invoice in CDN if you are in
Canada or the rest of the world or in US for US customers
Shipping:
Shipping rates are calcualated in real time from the Canada Post server once you have placed your order.
Shipping within Canada is by Expedited Parcel which is the most economical way. Insurance against loss to the valueof your order is included automatically so if your parcel has not arrived within a reasonable time (which can vary from 1 day to several depending on where you are in the country) please contact me and I will send you the tracking information.
Shipping to the USA and to the rest of the world is either by small
packet air or by expedited parcel.
Items under 1Kg (2.2lbs) and under $100.00CDN can go by small packet air. Anything
heavier or of a higher value goes by Expedited (and it trackable). The only
disadvantage to small packet air is that it is not trackable - its is however
quite economical and starts at $6.90 to the US and $7.90 to the rest of the
world.
Express:
I will also send via Canada Post's's Xpress Post at an additional charge upon request. Please ask me for a quote.
Shipping Time:
Please note that parcels sent by air to the USA may take 10
business days or more to arrive as they go through US Customs.
Recent events have lengthened shipping times as items are checked more thoroughly.
MY GUARANTEE OF SERVICE:
I will do my best to provide timely, excellent, personalized service to all of my customers.
I will respond to all emails, questions and orders in a timely
fashion.
If you have not heard from me within 24 hours of your email, please resend,
as it is likely that I have not received it.
If you would like to speak to me personally email me and I will give you my
phone number.
If I do not have something, I will see if I can get it for you.
I have access to many different distributors and many different yarns and brands,
many that I do not have listed on my web site.
If you are interested in a particular yarn, please ask. Minimum quantities and
prepayment may apply if it is a yarn I do not normally carry.
If I make an error in your order, I will replace the item at my
own expense.
If your order does not arrive or arrives in less than perfect condition, please
let me know (remember that shipments to the USA can take 2 weeks by air).
Insurance covers loss, not damage, but I will replace damaged items at my own
expense.
I will accept returns of regular priced items for store credit within 30 days if they are in their original condition.
Clearance items or items bought through eBay (user id is musthaveyarn)
are not returnable.
